Josef Cardinal Mindszenty (March 29, 1892-May 6, 1975) was a Roman Catholic Cardinal, 1946; Archbishop of Esztergom, 1945; and ordained a priest, 1915.
On November 12, 1956, commenting on his eight years of confinement by the Russian occupation troops in Hungary, Josef Cardinal Mindszenty stated:
